The Bondage of the Will, in my estimation, is the most important book written in the 16th century. I would encourage everyone who has even slight interest in understanding the real divide between the Protestant faith and the Roman Catholic faith. I often wondered what Luther would have to say about  the views on sin and grace held by some who consider themselves Protestant (or at least, not Catholic) today. My guess is that he think them treasonous to the cause for which he gave his life in recovering the gospel of grace.
