Steve McCoy has some excellent advice for parents of young children in his recent blog post. He’s put together twenty practical pieces of advice that are wise, biblical and, to this grandfather, seem spot on!

Some of his counsel may sound familiar:

• Believe that kids are a blessing

• Teach first-time obedience

But he has also included some especially thoughtful ones that don’t usually show up on lists of parenting tips:

• Pray with your kids concerning taking risks

• Keep/Give away
